Hi there well this is a poem I came up with while watching the anime of Tsubasa reservoir chronicle. It's a poem by Sakura about how she feeling on learning about her lost memories. I hope you all enjoy reading it,
Memories
Once a bird has lost its feathers
It can no longer soar in the vast open sky's
And a person who has lost their memories
Can no longer find their way
But I believe that as long as I have my life
New memories can be engraved in the sands of time
I carve out a new path to walk down
Even though the memories of you have gone
I can feel the love you have for me
My heart knows the secret of my lost memories
My body knows the warmth of your touch
While you held my hand as I slept
I close my eyes and dream of someone who isn't there
But I can hear the sound of your voice calling out to me
I don't know why but tears begin to flow
My heart is filled with a strange sadness that I can't explain
And I wonder to myself why is it that I cry?
Even though I don't know who you truly are
I know that with all my heart
That as long as long as I have you there by my side
The one with the gentle yet sad eyes
I can overcome this destiny of mine
So let us create new memories together
Upon the eternal sands of time
