Hey, Since I have been gone for AGES. I thought I would write a [short] story to say sorry. I hope you like.
[Disclaimer: I do not own Sonny with a chance or the characters. Just this plot.]
Sonny smiled at herself in the mirror, her hand held delicately at her hips. Admiring how she looked. She was wearing a strapless dress. The back going a bit too far down for her comfort; yet Tawni had convinced her that she looked good and that it wasn't. While telling her that she wouldn't allow her to change it. The dress made even better, coupled with her Black Leather Jacket and her black, high heel shoes. Tawni wasn't aware that she was wearing the jacket, since she had gone home. Leaving Sonny alone in the dressing room. She had decided to get ready there. Since Tawni refused to let her go home to get ready by herself. Finally Sonny had just given in. Yet, the jacket also gave sonny some sort of comfort. And, she wasn't going to throw that away tonight. She, well… Needed it.
Sonny, finally happy with the result of how she looked. Went and sat on the Tawni's couch. Just, thinking things through. She was nervous, and it would be certainly clear to anyone that looked at her. She wasn't sure why though. Since when did people get nervous for date's; when they weren't even sure if it was one? She sighed. She just didn't want to make a fool of herself. This was sort of ironic if you thought of what she did as a career. This was just different.
She finally stood. Picking up her bag, as she walked out the door. Heading towards her car for one of the most conflicted nights of her life.
She walked toward her car and unlocked the door. Pushing the door open quickly to escape the small chills of the night. Yet, she had a feeling these were mostly nerves. She simply couldn't help it. She fastened her seatbelt; before starting the car. Her thoughts going on overdrive as she started driving to her 'date'.
Normally she could be so confident. Yet, this date was affecting her so much. Why was she so nervous? Maybe it was because it was him. The one boy that could put a smile on her face no matter what the situation. Someone, she never thought would affect her in this way. Also, the guy she knew would most likely never be hers. He was a womaniser and she knew it. She wasn't going to pretend to herself that he wasn't. Yet, if she could get this one night with him. Just this one date with him. She could just be happy; even if it was for only a little while.
Finally, she had arrived. She stopped the car and took a deep breath. Preparing herself for what she was about to do. Suddenly, she grabbed her door handle and pushed it open. Her thought's clouding her mind as she made her way to the front of the restaurant. She soon spotted him.
Her heart stopped. All her doubts fluttered away from her head and were quickly replaced with butterflies. He noticed her and their gazes locked. Snapping out of it when he smiled at her. "Hey Sonny." He said, flashing Sonny his signature grin. Sonny smiled in return and walked over to him. Rather glad she had decided to come. "Hey Chad." She replied, as she went and stood next to him. Blushing slightly as he held out his hand for her to take. Both, walking into the restaurant with their hands intertwined together.
Anyway, I hope you liked guys.
I'm still not sure if it's going to be a multi chapter or just a one shot.
I'll let you guys decide.
Anyway, please review? Any feedback would be great.
