No Time
Shadowed Past
The smell of smoke and sulfur loomed in the air, as suet and ash rained down as though it were snow covering the ground. Blinding ones to all that was around, burning soil and molten rock formed what little land there was between you and the lakes, rivers and seas of lava that boils all along the surface of the barren wasteland riddled with death. Upon the highest mount stood two figures whom had engaged in a battle that had shaken the vary world in which they stood upon.
"Why must you keep running from what you were, are we not like brothers, why must we fight" Says the warrior whom tries to hold himself up as the toxic volcanic gases begin to overcome him, burning his throat and eyes "It's not too late for you to become who you once were let me help you." hoping to reach the man inside the lord before him that he once called friend. The ground shaking and lava erupting, the very landscape crumbling around them, "You cannot help me for there is no going back for me. The darkness is what I have become." the dark lord hardhearted tone. The rumbling beneath their feet soon reached its high as the ground suddenly gave way sending both men falling as the warrior valiantly reached out in a last effort to save his old friend. "Isaac!" he yelled to no effort as he watched the dark lord fall into the cravats. Isaac!!!
The thing he last heard before waking from the dream to a cold sweat in room he did not know. Walking throughout the apartment he had never seen before he came to the bathroom, looking into the mirror at a face he did not recognize. Saying the only words he could muster up "who am I", beginning examining himself, hoping to figure out to whom he was, he found strange tribal symbols on his right forearm and a scar on his right eye. Pacing in the apartment he had never seen before he began to think to himself 'Who am I, what are these markings on my arm, how did I get this scar on my eye' as he continued to pace back and forth something caught his eye a news paper labeled THE JUMPCITY GAZETE he picked it up and began looking through it. June 6th, 2009 is what he found highlighted on the front page along with an article on the Teen titans. 'Teen Titans why does that name catch my attention? Do I know them?' he thought " I have to find out".
