The happy ending
It was a sad day for all of them. None of them had believed that Zim would die. He had killed himself and Dib was the one who found him. The only one who asked for a happy ending was Dib though. Gir didn't completely understand what was going on. From Gaz to Gir, Zita to Tak, they were all there. Dib's wish was then granted. The small plot twist was put in place. Zim did not die. He merely fell asleep for several days and when he woke up, everyone was there and he finally was given the happy ending he deserved. They all lived happily ever after as all things can if they only get a chance to change the plot of their story.
