She moved closer to the cornered Cancer, a playful gleam in her eyes. Seeing the gleam Karkat only pushed himself further against the wall.
"Please Karkitty, for me?" Nepeta purred to him as he held up the cherry red hat with two holes in it for his horns. It was similar to her blue one.
"Fuck off, Nepeta. I'm not wearing that shitty hat." Karkat replied with a slightly wavering voice. He knew how vicious she can be when she wants something done, but he wasn't ready to back down now. Registering what he said, the Leo gained a look of sadness in her eyes and caused the Red blooded troll to feel a pang of guilt and hesitate.
Using the hesitation as an opportunity, the green blooded troll pounced forward and trapped Karkat between herself and the wall. Seizing this moment, she managed to slip the hat over her matesprit's nubby horns and on his head. "Karkitten, you look purrfect!" She squealed with excitement as she backed away a bit to see him fully with the hat.
"God dammit Nepeta! I thought I fucking told you I didn't want to wear this shit!" He shouted as the tips of his ears and nose turned a shade of pink.
"B-But Karkat…" The Leo said sadly. "I made it just for you." At that point her eyes welled with green tinted tears, making the red blooded troll reach forward and pull Nepeta into a hug.
"I'm sorry Nepeta. I'm such a dumbass." Karkat slightly grumbled, feeling bad that he hurt his matesprit's feelings.
"Karkat?" Nepeta said a bit quietly after her wild haired matesprit calmed her down.
"Yeah?"
"Can you do something for me?"
"Tell me what you want and I'll do it."
"You sure?"
"I'm positive." Saying this, Karkat looks up at her and smiles.
"AC pounces on her purrey." She said as she tackled Karkat onto the couch. "CG says he loves you." Karkat replied. "AC says she loves you too." She said as she held the Cancer close.
