Broken
He couldn't believe she was gone.
He'd never see her again.
She'd never grow old.
She'd never hold a baby in her arms.
He couldn't get the memory out of his mind.
She looked like she was floating, frozen in mid air.
Then she just fell.
He could feel the warm tears running down his deathly cold cheeks.
He felt like his heart was breaking, if his heart could break.
He screamed into the night.
He wanted to tear the universe apart to find a way to bring her back.
There had to be a way to bring her back.
She couldn't be gone forever.
He would've done anything for her.
He would've died for her.
He would've killed for her.
He would've loved for her.
He needed her.
He needed her as much as he didn't need to breathe.
He needed her to love him.
He screamed again as his grief overtook him.
