Start of Something New Part 1
Outside of Degrassi Community school stood 3 men. To the left was an older looking Drew Torres. Drew's face spotted a little stubble and a few wrinkles yet he still looked almost the same as he did when he graduated 20 years ago.
Beside him stood his best friend and and co-owner of Double D party planning Mike Dallas who has a little brooder and his age was represented by the slight baldness of his head.
On the right Stood a 60 Something Archibald Simpson. Principal Simpson now had a much wrinkled face and a slight limp. He would be retiring from teaching at the end of this year after almost 40 years as an educator.
"It's hard to believe that they start high school today". Said Dallas.
Principal Simpson nodded and replied "It seems like yesterday it was you two in the student's seats but now it's your children and you two are."
"In the teacher's chair" Replied Drew with a slight chuckle. He was now the math teacher at Degrassi and Dallas was the health and gym teacher. Suddenly a blue van drove into the parking lot breaking and starting again about 3 times before finally stopping completely. "I'm guessing Harrison drove this morning". Drew said.
The doors on the van open and 6 teenagers walked out all looking lightly shaken from the ride they just had. 3 were boys and 3 were girls. Drew and Dallas started walking over to them. Dallas looked at drew and said "This is going to be one interesting year". They both laughed before greeting the kids.
