Preview #1: Maynus talks with Lion-O

Later that afternoon, Maynus walked out of her house and she saw Lion-O cleaning his Sword of Omens. Maynus looks curious about Lion-O and walked up to him.

Maynus (to Lion-O): Hey, Lion-O.

Lion-O (to Maynus): Hm? Maynus, what brings you here?

Maynus (to Lion-O): Well, I-I just wanted to say thanks again for saving my life.

Lion-O (to Maynus, smiling): It's no problem. Whenever someone's in trouble, the Thundercats are here to help.

Maynus giggled. Then Lion-O is getting a little curious about something.

Lion-O (to Maynus, curiously): Maynus, I have a question to ask.

Maynus (to Lion-O): What is it?

Lion-O (to Maynus): What are you doing all alone in the jungle by yourself?

Maynus looked at Lion-O, looking very stunned after hearing Lion-O's question.

Maynus (stunned): Huh? W-Well…

Lion-O (to Maynus): Hey, don't feel scared if you're going to tell me why. It's just a question.

Maynus tries to think of what she's going to say to Lion-O. Then Maynus spoke to Lion-O.

Maynus (to Lion-O): Lion-O, the reason why I'm out in the jungle by myself is; I was trying to be an explorer when I grow up.

Lion-O (to Maynus): An explorer? That's sounds interesting. But you're too young to be an explorer; it could be dangerous if you do something like that. Couldn't you wait when you get older to be an explorer?

Maynus sadly sighed, turns her head and look up in the sky.

Maynus (to Lion-O): Well, I was trying my best not to get into any dangers until I fell into the big hole and you rescued me, but…

Lion-O (curiously): Huh? But what?

Maynus looked back at Lion-O.

Maynus (to Lion-O): I cannot wait to get older to be an explorer, I want to travel different places and even search for buried treasures. I don't want to wait that long…

Lion-O now understands how Maynus feel about being an explorer and how she cannot wait to grow up.

Lion-O (to Maynus): Maynus, I know how you feel… It's the same thing to me when I cannot wait to be king of the Thunderians. That happens when I was your age.

Maynus (to Lion-O): Really?

Lion-O (to Maynus): Of course. You and I are the same.

Maynus (to Lion-O, surprised): I didn't know that…

Lion-O patted Maynus' head.

Lion-O (to Maynus): Now, you know. So what is it you're looking for in the jungle, Maynus?

Maynus (to Lion-O): Well, like I was trying to tell you, Lion-O is I'm searching for the cave that has crystallized walls and lights.

Lion-O is amazed.

Lion-O (to Maynus, amazed): Wow! Now that's the new discovery for a little explorer like you.

Maynus giggled.

Maynus (to Lion-O): Oh yes indeed, and I was planning to go to that cave to find the most famous special crystal.

Lion-O (to Maynus): Really? What kind of crystal?

Maynus (to Lion-O, excitedly): Well, it has a name for it, and it's called the Crystal of—

Before Maynus was about to say the name of the crystal, Belinda interrupts, calling for her.

Belinda (to Maynus, calling) Maynus, your dinner is ready!

Maynus (to Belinda): Oh, coming, Miss. Belinda!

Maynus turned back to Lion-O.

Maynus (to Lion-O, giggling): Sorry, Lion-O. I have to go and have dinner with Miss. Belinda. Talk to you later.

Lion-O (to Maynus): Oh, okay then. I'll see you in the morning then.

Maynus waved at Lion-O as she went back into her house to have dinner. Lion-O have a curious look on his face.

Lion-O (looking curious): What kind of crystal is Maynus looking for?
