I love Kenny McCormick, and his deaths are a great source of entertainment for me. This is his final death. Of course, this is non-cannon, it's just a story.

Why do I suffer?

The winter solstice, the temperature is below freezing, and snow is falling like glitter in a snowglobe. But the last thing one unfortunate child saw was a blinding light, just as he freed his foot from under the rail tracks he slipped on. The train had no chance of stopping in time, and the child was caught under the five hundred tonne vehicle, dragged half a mile beneath the wheels, brains scattered throughout the snow until the train finally came to rest.

Kenny McCormick. He dies a lot.

The passengers disembark, screaming upon the sight of the young boy's mutilated corpse. But the one who screamed hardest was Kenny himself. Looking down at himself.

Never could he stand the sight of blood, and seeing his own mangled body was enough to make him want to vomit. He turns away, gagging, wishing to be freed of the curse he bares.

The cursed gift of immortality.

A familiar, comforting yet somewhat chilling sensation wraps itself upon his shoulder. The bony grip sends a gentle shivver down his spine.

"Have you seen enough, Kenneth?" the deep, hollow voice he knew so well pierces his thoughts. He only needs one answer, but instead...

"Why?"

The being behind Kenny pauses... his answer came as a whisper. "It's my job. I don't like it but it is God's will."

The sound of sirens echo through the night, the police and medical teams arriving with no hope of saving the boy.

The snow that once danced in the winter breeze began to intensify, like God himself was crying for someone.

Reading from the scripture in his mind, the dark figure says; "Jehovah selected a chosen one. A child from an impoverished household was his choice. Kenneth McCormick. You are God's child. Your trials were to withstand pain and torment, and one day join Him in the kingdom of heaven."

"But my family... they suffered more than anyone! Mom... dad... my dad has been drinking, beating mom... and mom has been depressed, like she has no reason to go on..." This was no secret. They both have been depressed for a long time, and this affects Kenny the most.

"I'm sorry, but it's God's..."

The rage inside Kenny finally came out at once; "FUCK GOD'S WILL! I CAN'T GO ON WATCHING THE FRIENDS I LOVE SEE ME DIE!"

And after that, he drops to his knees, and cries.

A gentle embrace is followed by the words "Are you ready to go at last?"

They stay like this for many minutes, Kenny telling the hooded being about his friends and how he hates to see them mourn.

Lowering his parka, he says quietly; "My time has come? Please mister, tell me if I will truly be free... and your name first."

Lowering his own hood, and raising his axe, the featureless being replies.

"Your family will be okay with time. If not, I can give them God's blessing."

Kenny stays on his knees, looking straight down, and blesses himself. He's not religious, but he knows that he was chosen. A tortured soul that can finally go home.

And with a final glint in the empty eyes of the man, he says softly; "You can call me Grimm. In the name of the father, and the son, and the holy spirit, may your journey to heaven be peaceful, and your family fulfilled, ready to see you again."

"Amen."

And Kenny was set free from his stress, worries, sorrows. He can live with the angels in the kingdom of heaven at last.

The lord giveth, and the lord taketh.

The End.
