They got me, man! ErzaDLaw, MadSoullessQueen, dragonshost and I'm_ur_Misconception got me... I've given in to the sexy coffee addicted Mard Geer and his Rosebud!
She was back, Lucy thought as she came to inside of a maze, each wall twice her size and littered with stunning crimson roses. Hands pushing down upon the lush grass beneath her, Lucy stood, absentmindedly placing her left hand on the left side of the hedge like she had once read about in a book, and began her journey through the maze, her long flowing dress trailing behind her.
For that pass four nights she had woken up in this maze of flowers, always in the same spot and dressed in the same white gown. Each night she would venture further, subconsciously searching for something, following along the left side of the path, but never reaching it or the end.
She would hear whispers from a deep and rich voice, so low and filled with such yearning her heart would ache.
It called for someone, pleading for that person to finally come to them.
To become one and complete their soul.
Twist after twist, turn after turn, the sound of running water reached her ears. And with that sound, the yearning became stronger.
Excited at the thought of finally reaching either the center of the maze or it's end, at finally behind able to see who this person calling out to her was, Lucy picked up the pace, the rose scented wind rushing threw her hair. Seeing a brightly lit exit, she practically lunged for it.
Color exploded all around her, her sight momentarily stolen from her, before returning once the brightness left, and her breath caught as her large brown eyes connected with narrowed black abyss like orbs.
"It's you! Mard Geer!"
So... I'm thinking of starting another snippet series... as you can tell, it'll be MardLu... I couldn't help it! AND, I'm in the process of brainstorming a LahCy story too!
So let me know if you'd like to see me try my hand at some MardLu and LahCy. Do you think I should continue this? Idk, I'm not really that confident in my skills for writing those two pairings, but I'll try for all of you.
