A/N: My favorite love triangle of the show. While I ship PR and FQ, I gotta admit that I love PQ as well, they're a family and super adorable. But still, my heart will always belong to puck/rachel and finn/quinn no matter what. And Quinn always was my favorite character :P

Disclaimer: Don't own Glee, wish I did.

She tries to discreetly chew on her lip when he takes her hand, hating herself for grimacing at the fact that it didn't feel right. Didn't feel comfortable.

(It's too hard. Too strong.)

Her other hand happily rests above her stomach, feeling her daughter move inside of her, internally reminding herself that she had to go in to Dr. Wu's office for a sonogram the next morning.

(Remember when he took you?)

He smiles down at her, wide eyes shining with affection, and she forces a smile back at him, praying to God that it looks real.

(The smiles you gave him weren't forced. They never had to be.)

"This is nice," he murmurs, and she resists the urge to burst out in twisted laughter, because the turmoil going on in her head at the moment was anything but nice.

"Yeah," she agrees, hoping that he doesn't notice the way her eyes averted and her jaw tensed for lying.

He abruptly stops, and she looks at him, eyebrows furrowed in confusion due to his strange behavior. He takes a deep breath and runs his free hand through his Mohawk before choosing to continue.

"I think I love you."

Those five words hit her like a slap in the face. She feels caged in, without escape, grasping at straws in the hope of being freed again. She gulps, looking into his jade eyes, only to find that he sincerely meant what he just said, and all she could do was continuously blink in shock.

His eyes were boring into hers with such an intensity that she suddenly felt self-conscious.

(Remember when you got that same look from a pair of brown eyes?)

Her eyes start pricking, a warning that she's about to cry. He's still wating for a response, but shows that he isn't rushing her by giving her hand a gentle squeeze.

She's thought many times she and Puck are meant to be. Maybe that's why destiny decided to give them a daughter. To bring them together. To make them realize that they were perfect for each other. She thinks about their child, how she deserves a functioning family. Parents that are in love with each other.

So she does what she believes is best.

"I think I love you too," she whispers, and her heart almost shatters when she sees his eyes light up with joy and affection, his arms wounding around her back in a tight embrace.

(With him you didn't think. You knew. There was never any doubt about it.)

She strains a smile up at him when he tucks a blonde curl behind her ear. He leans down, she reaches up, and their lips meet. She feels him smile into the kiss and a tear makes its way down her cheek, despite her eyes being shut. She's betraying him, making him believe that he's the only one on her mind, only one in her heart.

(He's a hard guy to get over.)

Maybe with time...

She can do this. She can be happy. With her daughter. With her family.

He grins down at her, and she smiles genuinely back up at him, because she knows that he would do anything to make her happy, and she wraps her arms around his waist, sighing into his shirt as he rubs soothing circles over her back.

He'll make her happy.

After all, he is Puck.

(But he's no Finn.)

And she despises the fact that she wishes she was in a different set of arms.
