Startoff A/N: Well, here goes nothing. This is my first fanfic on FF, so please don't flame. Just a little oneshot of Remus Lupin. I think its in third person. Couldn't write Hagrid's part correctly, so I used better grammar, methinks.
Disclaimer: Don't own HP. Never have, never will.
Claimer: My laptop!
The owl flew to the small shack in the rural part of Northumberland, England. The name of the letter on the envelope said Remus Lupin.
It had been a few months since he received his last letter, from Dumbledore.
The owl tapped on the window of the small shack.
He opened the window with some difficulty, and it had somehow busted a new scar on his hand. Cursing under his breath, he wiped the blood away with a rag and ran his bloody hand under the faucet of the sink.
Once his wound had been cleaned, he got the letter untied from the owl's leg and gave the owl some old owl treats, which he found in one of the cabinets.
He saw Hagrid's messy handwriting once he opened the letter and could almost hear him saying it.
Remus,
I'm trying to make Harry a scrapbook of pictures of Lily, James, and the other Marauders. Do you have any good pictures?
If you find any, please send them back to me.
Rubeus Hagrid
Remus set down the letter and went to the living room, from which he found the box with all the pictures from his Hogwarts' days.
Searching through the box, he found multiple pictures with Sirius in them. He wanted to rip them up, but it was the only thing he had to remember the old Sirius, before he turned evil.
He finally found the picture he was looking for.
The wedding picture of Lily and James, the one he tore Sirius out of.
Lily, James, and the younger Remus smiled and waved at him. Those had been the happier times, before Voldemort started to target them.
He slowly got up, staring at the picture the whole way. He wished that they were still alive. He thought everyone did. The world might've been happier.
He found a piece of parchment, some ink, and an old quill.
Rubeus,
Here's the only picture I could find.
Sorry at the tear on the left side, I think I ripped it when I was younger.
Remus Lupin
AN: So, there went nothing. Probably wasn't even that good. Heck, I know it wasn't.
