Harry-Sue......Hmmmmm
Friends,I was thinking.(yes I know big step!) And i so as i was thinking I thought about the similarities between a certain haracter and Mary-Sue.And I came to the conclusion that Harry Potter would be a Mary-Sue if he wasn't a canon character.Now i know this may offend some of you,but please view my reasons for coming to this shocking conclusion.
1).Harry is pure good.As far as we know he hasn't even had an overdue Library book!
2).Harry seems to always get around the rules and escape from trouble.Femember the time he and Ron flew that car into the Whomping Willow?And how about when he blew up his aunt Marge?That is a criminal offence!
3).Every one seems to like him EXCEPT for the obvious villains.Which is of course to amplify the purity and goodness of Harry's character.
4).Harry is good at every thing!Lets face it.He vanquished Voldemort when he was a year old,He wins every Quidditch game unless the forces of Darkness interfere.He never loses simply because he has met his match in another seeker.
5).He is famous.Nuff' said.
6).Harry has conquered evil to many times to count.I mean,we all know that he will eventualy kill Voldemort and be celebrated as a hero once again.
7).harry also is implyed to be an advanced wizard.(see # 4).At 13 he conjured a Patronus.Specified to be difficult and advanced magick,that some grown wizards and witches couldn't accomplish.
8).Oh yes.I almost forgot...Harry is filthy rich!His parent's "conveniently" saved away a sizable bank account.So Harry has never had to deal with the dilemna that Ron Weasley did.
9).And do you ever notice that no one really cares that he is a half blood?(i'm pretty sure he is a half blood).
10).Harry is also considered to be attractive.Not once does any one ever refer to his scar as "ugly" (exceot maybe Malfoy).
11).Harry gets special treatment.The Invisibility cloak from Dumbeldore.The Map from the Weasley twins.The list just goes on.
12).He has fans falling all over them selves to kiss his ass.(not literally i hope!).
13).He got an f***ing Firebolt for Chrissakes!
14).He got an awesome Godparent.The one.The only. Sirius Black!(lucky bastard!)
15).Not to mention his parents died.Normally that wold be non Mary-sue,but it just seems to add to the "tragidy" and drama that is Harry Potter.
