Because my sister was watching Titanic and obviously I ended up watching this part and had to write a Percabeth reenactment of it. Short, but I just needed to do this.

This is set after Blood of Olympus, when they're coming back to Camp-halfblood, although it doesn't really matter when it's set.

"Come right after dinner." Percy whispered into my ear. "Bow of the ship."

I tried to hide the grin and avoided the knowing eyes of Piper as I hurriedly ate the rest of my food. Knowing Percy, going to the bow of the ship could mean anything, from sparring to talking about the way the boat worked to just standing there, looking out in the distance. Looking towards home.

Percy was leaning against the railing, watching the sunset, but as I neared, he turned and smiled. "Come here."

"Percy, what–"

"Just come here." He stretched out his hand and hesitantly, I took it. He drew me close. "I've always wanted to do this." He said quietly. "And if you haven't, at least pretend you have, alright?" His eyes twinkled with mirth.

"What are you talking about, Percy?" I glanced behind him, where the Argo II was cutting through the Pacific Ocean towards Camp Half-blood.

"Do you trust me?" He asked, smiling at me, that smile he reserved just for me.

"Oh no, please don't tell me this is an Aladdin thing." I said, remembering when I first found out about his obsession with about every Disney animation movie ever made and knowing enough lines to quote it.

"No."

I didn't believe him, but I rolled my eyes and nodded anyway. "Yes, Seaweed Brain, I trust you. Of course I trust you."

"Then close your eyes."

This was a reference to a popular classic, most likely, and a movie. A popular movie that wasn't new that everyone watched, including Percy. I wracked my brain for a scene like this, but then Percy started guiding me towards the railing and I started to panic.

"Percy…" I warned.

"Didn't you say you trusted me?" He said, his breath fanning my ear. "Don't open your eyes. I want it to be a surprise." Against my better judgment, I obeyed. "Now, hold on to the railing. Step onto it."

"Percy…"

"You won't fall. And even if you do, you won't be harmed, I promise."

"I could be hit by the boat and pass out and drown."

"Don't ruin the moment, Annabeth, and just step onto the railing." Percy said, annoyed.

"There was a moment?" I joked, but stepped onto the railing, my eyes still closed. This was some crazy trust exercise Percy had made up. He placed his hands on my waist, steadying me.

Slowly, he moved his hands over mine and spread them out to either side of us. The wind hit my face and arms and I couldn't help but smile a bit. Now I remembered where this was from.

"Okay, now you can open your eyes." He said, his mouth right beside my ears.

The sky was a picture of orange and red, and even a little pink. Apollo was definitely putting on a show tonight. The water was moving underneath the ship faster than I could track and the way the light hit the waves, it looked like the sea was glittering. The wind around my arms made me feel as if they were the ones supporting me, as if my feet were not at all planted on the railing of the Argo II.

"And now you say…" Percy whispered.

"'I'm flying, Jack, I'm flying.'" I quoted.

"Louder." Percy kissed my cheek tenderly.

"'I'm flying, Jack, I'm flying!'" I shouted.
