Here is my twist on A Christmas Carol. Happy Easter to everyone.

I do not own anything. Just my idea to twist a holiday favorite and try to make it fit another.

Vicki was tired and more than ready to go home when her and her mother left church. Easter and Christmas were the two holiday seasons that she went to church for. And even then it was only at her mother's pleading. Victoria Nelson had to endure a whole day with her mother. First there was an early lunch, then shopping, and then finally the Good Friday service. Vicki didn't really have time to take the day off because she had too many cases, but her mother insisted. This was a yearly mother-daughter tradition.

Vicki went through her nightly routine, same as every other night. She went to bed and was awakened by the sounds of chains. She grabbed her glasses, placed them on her face and saw a ghost. It was the ghost of Dave. He had died on Ash Wednesday during a random shooting.

He told her that she did not understand the real meaning of sacrifice and love and she would learn about it tonight. Vicki was told that three ghosts would visit her, the first arriving at midnight. Then Dave was gone.

Sorry this is short. If you like my idea and would like for me to continue, then let me know and I'll make the following chapters longer.
