Hello everyone, the last few lines are a little headcanon I had since the lost hero, and I figured I should write it down.

She scoffed "oh yes, the mighty son of Jupiter is so perfect everyone has to bow to him, let's just go already"

"Hey i never said i was perfect, but i've been at camp my whole and i'm pretty sure if a monster attacks us, i'd be more prepared to defeat it"

" oh, please . You're not that tough "oh, let's see about that.

Okay, so maybe it was a little over the top to summon up so much lightning around me, but i wasn't about to let some new girl underestimate me.

What i wasn't expecting however, was her shocked expression to turn into laughter after a few seconds.

"I...you're...your hair is "that's all she managed to get out before she lost her balance and fell to the floor.

I frowned ,my hair? I mean i may have let it grow a bit long ,but it wasn't that bad, that is , until i touched it, yeah ,my hair apparently didn't agree with the electricity, i was thinking up of an excuse when i looked at her and smirked.

"Well atleast I can dodge trash cans when I fall"

Her glare became alot less terrifying with a half melted ice-cream as a hat.

We stared at each other for a minute before bursting out with laughter.

"And that, is how our friendship began, and also the reason i kept my hair short until now, although i figured out how to stop it, that didn't stop reyna from laughing at me, and it looks like you guys are going to join her"

We were sitting on the shore, trying to make the most of the day before reyna, nico, and coach hedge left with the statue, and i had no idea how we got to embarrassing stories.

"Just remember that the lightning bolts started striking the ground next time you want to show off" reyna said with a smirk.

"Apollo said nobody got hurt, and i definitely have better control than I had three years ago."

"Um, Jason " Percy's eyes were narrowed "did this happen on the winter solstice?"

"Yeah, how did you know that?"

"well, me ,grover and thalia were on our way to save annabeth and Artemis at the time,and a lightning bolt hit the car we were in ,i thought it was zues,and i really,really wanted to punch him at the time"
