Inu-Yasha pulled himself out of the groung after recovering from a 'Sit!'. Kagome was gone. He jumped up and settled hmself on a tree branch. 'Kagome I've hurt you so much. Maybe if I just left you guys would be better off. Sango and Miroku can protect you.' He thought shamefully.

I'm full of regret
For all things that I've done and said
And I don't know if it'll ever be ok to show
My face 'round here
Sometimes I wonder if I disappear

Inu-Yasha could see Kagome in the distance. She was running. He could still smell the salty water that stained her face. She never looked back.

Would you ever turn your head and look
See if I'm gone

He was debating on weather or not to go after her but one thought decided that. 'Theres nothing left I can tell her. I've hurt her and lied to her too much she either won't care or won't believe me.'

He remembered when she first freed him. The innocent look on her face. He knew by her looks she wasn't Kikyo but the smell said other wise. 'I'm the one who pulled you into all this Kagome. First I make you help with the jewel and everything then I run to Kikyo. I just don't ant to be rejected.'

"It's all my fault!" screamed the hanyou as he threw his fist against the trunk of the tree. "All I do I toy with you! I treat you just like a shard dector. I know I shouldn't. Kagome I love you!" he told himself outloud.

And I've done you so wrong
Treated you bad
Strung you along
Oh shame on myself
I don't know how I got so tangled up

"And I love you Inu-Yasha" came a voice from somewhere below him. "K-Kagome?" he said amazed as he jumped down. "Kagome I-"he was cut off as Kagome pressed her lips against his. "It's okay I understand" she whispered softly as she brushed his silver locks out of his face.
