"Umm, well... you see..." Andrew trailed off nervously, looking around the room at all the imposing figures. He never thought he'd have ended up here....

"Just tell us what you remember Mr. Furuata. Take your time." The cold voice was not at all reassuring.

"I'm going to need to. My head feels like a football, and I'm not entirely sure I'll live, despite having woken up. I'm not sure whether to blame the whiskey, the gin, or the six packs." Some laughter following the inappropriate comment loosened Andrew up. It had the opposite effect of the man facing him, however.

"Well, we were celebrating the end of playoffs. Several of my friends were over, since I have the largest tv. My wife Mina was at a girlfriends. She didn't want to be around us while we were discussing the game and partying.

"I"m pretty sure I remember Chad deciding to wear a grapefruit as a hat. I think I have pictures, too. Not here, of course, but I remember my camera. Ken spent some time lying under the table, discussing the game with Artemis, Mina's cat. I know I had to much to drink, because I think he was talking back." Andrew didn't notice Mina go red in the audience, or Rei silencing her with a promise to get the cat back later.

"I think Seiya cut down my neighbor's tree... he was mad at Darien all night. I think it's cause Serena's pregnant, and he's still got the hots for her. Darien likes trees. And all sorts of other plants. Not even just the pretty or useful ones either..." Andrew trailed off, realizing he'd gotten way off topic. "Sorry, again I blame the alcohol. My brain's fuzzy.

"I don't know how Sammy, Melvin, and Yaten managed to get Officer Ken to show up, but it wasn't his idea. I think Yaten was the pickpocket for the cruiser's keys. I know he wouldn't willingly give them up, especially when we're all drunk. I did appreciate the sirens, though. So much better to get our excitement out than airhorns.

"Greg stayed sober. He had a shift this morning, and was going to take most of us back home beforehand. I don't remember how we managed to convince him to take me, Darien, Chad, and Sammy for McDonalds. I do remember us cajoling him to speed. Especially when we saw that cop. We wanted to know it the cops could run. That was all the drag race was about.

"Well, the obviously could. They ran us in to see you, still in this alcoholic daze. So it ended with us in the drunk tank."

Andrew gazed at the somber man in front of him, no longer put out by his steadily increasing scowl.

"Mr. Fururata, the law is quite clear. Drunk and disorderly is punished severely in my court. This is no laughing matter."

Andrew shrugged. "I could really use those thirty days, your Honour." The judge raised his brow, silently asking for an explanation.

The blonde smirked evilly. "To recover from the party."
