Sebastian hears the storm and can only hope it doesn't get worse. Lady Fae is very terrified of thunderstorms and will hide anywhere in the house. She's been this way since she was little, according to her. All he can do is take her word for it. He looks outside the window, and sees that it's drizzling. That's not too bad, he relaxes and goes back to his duties. Fae relaxes herself noticing that it's only a drizzle. She gets back to work, hoping it doesn't get worse. Of course both of their hopes don't happen. Fae jumps at the loud thunder. She calms a bit knowing Sebastian will come soothe her. Then the thunder shakes the house a bit.
"Eep." says Fae, then she scats running for it.
Sebastian rushes to Fae's office, he finds that he's a bit late. He goes on a search for her, making it priority to find her before the next lightning strike or sound of thunder. He looks over the whole house and finally gets to her just in the nick of time. He gets to her and holds her close. A mix of thunder and lightning strike and he holds her the whole time. Soothing her from the sound and sight having her focus on the beat of his heartbeat and sound of his voice as he sings. She lets him and snuggles into him.
"Don't go" says Fae
"I'm right here. Just focus on these sounds" says Sebastian
"Stay?" says Fae
"I won't leave your side." says Sebastian
She nods and does, listening to both his singing and heartbeat. He lets her glad that dinner was served before the storm happened, just in case it knocked out the power. She holds onto his hand and he holds her hand right back. The storm goes on all night, not that it bothers them any the rest of the night. It's a very bad one in the beginning, wind picking up, thunder and lightening getting worse it just got worse and worse, for an hour. They fall asleep, just as they were listening to the calming sounds of nature. Sebastian wakes up first and smiles watching Fae sleep on his chest. He looks up and notices that it's day and they slept through the storm. He didn't mind, that peaceful rainei that started an hour into the storm would make anyone tired. The power did indeed go out, but Sebastian will worry about that later. For now he'll hold Fae close and let her sleep a bit longer.
The End
