It had been 4 years since Merlin had left. Just before Arthur had been crowned King. He left after he told Arthur about his magic and obviously the conversation did not go well. Arthur had threatened to have him killed if he didn't leave so Merlin fled while he still could. A few days later when Arthur had a dream(nightmare) about all the times Merlin had saved his life he regretted his actions extremely. They searched for Merlin for months but eventually had to give up. All the knights were devastated especially Gwaine was because Merlin was one of his first friends and one of his best friends and ended up leaving Camelot 5 months after Merlin because he couldn't take it how Arthur had betrayed Merlin, Arthur because he knew it was his fault and Merlin was his best friend, and Lancelot because he was another best friend of Merlins but he sacrificed him self to close the portal and stop the dorocha. A few weeks after Arthur had fully regretted his actions and he was crowned king he declared magic was legal now, partially hoping Merlin would return and so would Gwaine, one of his best Knights...but that did not happen.
Arthur was sitting in his throne the Gwen next to him listening to the council and the people of Camelot as they proceed some of their problems when a messenger burst into the room claiming the King of Estari was on his way now to speak with King Arthur. Almost Everyone in the room rose after hearing the word Estari which was a Kingdom that had almost fallen because there was a traitor in the Royal family and had killed the King and Queen and their son and prince had gone missing.
"I thought Estari Fell!" one of the Noble men shouted out. Arthur realized it was Andrews who was a man who knew almost everything about the other Kingdoms.
"It was a magical kingdom" which was voiced by his lovely sister Morgana.
Arthur quickly asked how far away the king from Camelot. The reply he got was shocking, apparently the king was about an hour away which meant everyone has to get ready very fast. After he dismissed the court to get ready for the arrival of the king on his way.
1 hour later
Arthur was walking into the courtyard with Gwen, Percival, Elyan, and Leon when they all suddenly stopped and stared in shock at the king approaching on his Midnight armored Horse with 2 knights on either side of Him. There, right in front of Arthur was Merlin with a gorgeous but simple crown, his usual outfit, and a deep blueish-purple cloak with the symbol of Estari:a black Raven carrying a sword in its talons. On either side of him were Lancelot and Gwaine both dressed in the usual knight grab and cloak in the same color as Merlins cloak.
Arthur probably stood there like an idiot completely shocked at seeing Merlin.
"Hello Arthur."
