Rain Rain Don't Go Away
Jimmy couldn't believe it. Cindy, his Cindy, was standing there in the rain holding hands with Timmy from the other universe. He couldn't understand why she would want to be Timmy's girl when Jimmy had been there almost her entire life. He had been the one to save her life time and time again. Timmy just ran around and got lucky every once in a while. He turned away, not wanting to see her first kiss. He wished that her first kiss had been with him. He sighed deeply walked slowly back home.
"Will you be my girlfriend, Cindy?" Timmy asked.
And that's when Cindy saw Jimmy. He was hunched over and walking away slowly. Memories flooded her mind of the years gone by.
"I'm sorry, Timmy, but I can't be your girlfriend. My heart belongs to someone else," she answered truthfully.
"Oh. I see," he answered softly. Cindy gave his arm a squeeze.
"Can we be friends?" Timmy nodded. Cindy gave him a sympathetic smile.
"Bye," she said before running after Jimmy. Cosmo and Wanda popped by his side.
"We're sorry, Timmy," Wanda comforted.
"It's okay. She's too smart for me anyway," Timmy answered.
Meanwhile, Cindy had finally caught up with Jimmy.
"Jimmy! Jimmy!" She called as she ran up to his side. He stopped and gave her a very sad look.
"Yes Cindy?" He said monotonly.
"What . . . What are you doing out here in the rain?" She asked nervously.
"Watching you get a boyfriend. I'm glad for you," Jimmy said as he started to leave. Cindy grabbed his arm.
"Watching? I thought you'd be participating," Cindy answered. Jimmy gave her a quizzical look.
"Participating? How can I participate when you are Timmy's girlfriend?" Jimmy asked her. Cindy laughed.
"I told him no. That my heart belongs to someone else. Geeze, Nerdtron. How dense are you?" She asked, her blue eyes sparkling.
"But, you two were out in the clearing. Holding hands!" Jimmy protested. Cindy shook her head.
"He took my hand. I didn't know what he was going to ask!"
Jimmy took her hand and gave it a squeeze.
"Hey Cindy. Would you be my girlfriend?" Jimmy asked her. Cindy smiled.
"I would love to be your girlfriend, Jimmy," she replied softly. Jimmy closed the distance and rested his forehead against hers.
"May I kiss you?" He whispered. Cindy nodded.
"Uh huh," she answered. Jimmy brought his face closer and their lips touched gently. Cindy wrapped her arms around his neck as they started into their very first snog fest.
The rain continued to fall down upon them, but the two teenagers didn't notice let alone care. They were together, in love, and perfectly happy.

Cindy looked down at the beautiful space rubies that adorned the large diamond in the center of her wedding ring. She then looked outside at the rain that was pattering upon the window pane.
Two strong arms wrapped around her from behind. She rested her head against his chest.
"I love the rain," Cindy whispered.
"I love it too," Jimmy whispered in her ear. He spun her around and rested his forehead upon hers.
"May I kiss you?" He asked, as he did that first time they kissed on that fateful rainy day. Cindy nodded. However, she wasn't numb by his asking this time.
"You can kiss me now and forever," she replied. Jimmy smiled and pulled her into a searing kiss.
AND They lived happily ever after.
The End!
