Our Future
Phil sat upon his bed in the middle of the night debating on whether or not he should check into the future to see who Keely would get married to in the future. He had seen the lovely wedding ring upon her finger when they had looked into the future to see what Keely would be like.
He couldn't understand why he cared to know so much. Keely was his best friend and whomever she married was her own business. Not his. Yet, he really really wanted to know.
Fighting against his better judgement he grabbed the go-go and called up the wedding announcement of Keely. What he saw made him stop breathing immediately.
There was a picture of himself with Keely and the article was as followed:
Keely Teslow and Philip Diffy announce their engagement. They are to be wed at the St. Matthew's Catholic Church on September 18, 2015.
Phil took off the helmet and sat upon his bed, smiling to himself. He and Keely. Together. For the rest of their lives. He knew what he had to do to ensure that his future did come true.

Phil came to the school the next day wearing clothes that he was sure Keely would like. He went to his locker and waited for her to arrive, as he did every day.
"Hey Phil!" Keely greeted happily as she bounced to her spot.
"Hey Keely. Do you want to go out tonight. You know, on a date?" Phil asked her quickly. Keely looked at him quickly.
"A. . . A date? Really Phil?" Keely asked him softly. Phil nodded and swallowed hard.
"Yes Keely. I really want to go out on a date with you," Phil answered. Keely smiled.
"I'd love to go out on a date with you," Keely answered. Phil smiled and took Keely's hand in his and gave it a squeeze. Keely giggled softly and blushed.

"The time machine is fixed and you are coming with us!" Phil's mother argued.
"I'm twenty one years old Mom. And I am in love with Keely. I'd rather live in this time then live in our time. I'd rather be with her and this place that lacks technology than go back and be without her," Phil stated.
"She can come with us. She has no more family left. They've all been taken in that earthquake. What does she had to live for here?" Phil's father pointed out.
"I leave it up to her, but if she stays I stay. It's that simple," Phil stated.
A knock came upon their door and Phil, who was standing right next to it, opened it. Standing there was his Keely.
"Hey Keel. Do you want to come and live in the future with me? With us?" Phil asked her. Keely gave him a sad smile.
"I have no reason to stay. I would love to live in the future with you, Phil."
"You don't have to Keely. I would stay here with you," Phil told her. She shook her head.
"I want to live in the future with you and your family," Keely reassured him. Phil gave her a nod.
"Then we have to get you ready to go," Phil said to her.

"Well we set up this surprise for our very own Keely Teslow. Since today is your last day for a couple of weeks we got you a little something," Matthew Toolu, her fellow anchor announced at the end of the broadcast.
"We got you a cake in celebration of your wedding to Phil Diffy!" Her other anchor May Wind said. She smiled and thanked them as they brought out the cake, ending the broadcast.
Phil smiled as he held the paper in his hand, the one that had their wedding announcement in it. There was a picture of them and the article said:
Channel 13's Keely Teslow is to wed Nanotechnologist Phil Diffy at the St. Matthew's Catholic Church on September 18, 2130. No media is allowed at the wedding.
The future had begun.
THE END
