Hmmm… thought I had stopped updating on things? Well, you thought wrong!!!!!!!!! Anyways, I'm gonna put the one I started on hiatus and start up Talika again. Cept now it has a completely random title that has nothing to do with the story.

A young girl crept
silently through the darkness, searching
for her next
unfortunate target. She held up her bow as she
heard
movement along the edge of the forest. A rustle of clothing,
perhaps?
Giant footprints littered the area around her,
giving her shelter as she made her way as
quietly as
possible through the maze of broken trees. All was deadly silent
except
the heavy breathing of her target up ahead of her.
She swung her bow
towards the faint silhouette and
released. The large creature fell to the ground with a thud.
The girl opened a speech bubble.
"That's all of
them, Talika. Get the map and come back in."
The girl
sighed warily.
"Yes, mother,' she
murmured. She sprinted over to where the giant lay and plucked
the piece of parchment out of his hand; the map of Pirates
Swoop's secret passage ways. She wondered why the giants, of all
creatures, would want a map. They weren't smart enough
to understand what the dozens of lines on it were. So someone
had to have hired them,
but who?
"Talika, now." Tal
sighed and ran back into the
welcoming walls of her home.
