Batman Arkham City: Prologue
Bruce Wayne was in his room upstairs of the Wayne Manor getting dressed for the speech outside of Arkham City, a deadly town that was a part of Gotham that Hugo Strange took over. Bruce was going to protest against the making of Arkham. Alfred walked in while Bruce was tying his tie. "Do you need help ,sir?" Alfred said behind him. Bruce turned around, "No thanks Alfred." Bruce said turning back around finishing. "Do you have your speech?" Alfred said. "Yes." Bruce replied chuckling. Bruce walked out of the room, went down the stairs, and into the main hall. There was a chandelier above the room and a 10 foot tall painting of his mom and dad before they were killed. He waited by the door beside Alfred. Bruce pinned a pin on his collar with the "Arkham City" logo on it with a X on it. "Do I look good?" Bruce asked. "Indeed sir." Alfred responded as he put on his coat to drive Bruce to the speech.
Bruce got ready beside the stage by the door to Arkham City. Reporters flashed their cameras taking pictures of Bruce. Vikki Vale was doing a live report on the story. "This is Vikki Vale reporting live from Arkham City. The controversial super-prison built right here in the heart of Gotham." Vikki said to the camera. "In a few moments, Bruce Wayne will be live on stage to explain the sudden interests in Gotham politics. The infamous playboy millionaire has ever been one to..." "It's billionaire, Vikki, Millionaires are so last year." Bruce said passing threw. "WAYNE! BRUCE WAYNE!" The crowd shouted with their cameras and notepads. Bruce got on stage. "Thank you! Thank you, Gotham!" Bruce said. "Behind these walls gang leaders are fighting a bloody war in the middle of our once great city. Every inmate from Arkham Asylum and Blackgate prison has been relocated to this facility. How can this be safe for the people of Gotham? Today I'm starting a campaign to close Arkham City and make Gotham safe again..." Bruce saw a tear gas flew toward the ground and people started to run away. "Remember, Wayne is priority target." Someone said running to Bruce as twenty men followed with gas masks on and the Arkham City logo on their backs. "Hands in the air, Wayne. We have Wayne!" Another man yelled with their guns. "Target secured." said a man talking into his walkie talkie and walking towards Bruce. The man took out his gun and hit Bruce in the face with the blunt part on the back.
Bruce was unconscious and woke up tied to a chair and a bright light beamed on his face and saw the deadly eyes of Dr. Hugo Strange.
