I woke up to Dean's rudely loud singing. I got up slowly, still groggy. "Mhmm, Dean, can you PLEASE be quiet. I just woke up." Dean chuckled.
"Nope. Since today is your birthday I get to be the annoying older brother." I rolled my eyes and began to become more alert. I got up and grabbed my outfit but Dean shook his head. "No, you have to wear this." He grabbed an extremely gorgeous dress, sparkling red with a little puff at the end of the dress.
"Dean! Thank you, but it was probably expensive wasn't it?" Dean waved his hand. I went in the bathroom to change. When I came out, I did my hair and makeup for finishing touches. Sam walked in and smiled.
"Beautiful sis, now Dean. everything is ready. Should we go now, or wait?" Dean looked at me and then smirked.
"We should go, how she looks, she should show off. It IS you know..." I sighed in frustration, I hated secrets. Dean and Sam both chuckled. I followed them to the Impala and got in. We drove about fifteen miles when the Impala stopped. "We're here, sis. Come on." I got out of the Impala and followed Dean to the dark red house.
"If this isn't spooky, I don't know what is." I muttered and Dean chuckled.
"It's fine, come on, let's not keep everybody waiting." Dean grinned and opened the door. I went in and saw Gabriel. My heart stopped. I always had a crush on Gabriel, but I hid it very well from him. Gabriel looked like he wasn't breathing either. Then Castiel appeared in front of me, giving me my heartbeat back.
"Cas!" I hugged him tightly. "Did you know about this?" I waved my hand at the apparent surprise birthday party for me. He nodded sheepishly. I laughed. "So that's why you were nervous around me lately. Ah, it's fine. This is great guys, thanks!" Dean and Sam chuckled and I went to my birthday cake. It had twizzlers and bits of Hersey chocolate bar on it. I turned to see Gabriel was right behind me. "Gabe! was the cake your idea?" I said and he chuckled nervously, a sound you would never hear from Gabriel.
"Ah, yes. I knew you liked candy as much as I did so..."I hugged him tightly, longer than I would have my brothers or Castiel.
"Thanks, you know me so well." I said grinning. I suddenly felt like there were fireworks going off. It was cheesy in my head, but I felt like I was falling in love with Gabriel. I looked into his honey brown eyes. I felt his arms around me.
"Lila, are you okay?" He said, but smiled because he knew my thoughts.
"Kiss me." Gabriel nodded, as if he had been waiting to hear that and kissed me lightly, his lips brushing against mine.
