Omg
It's been over a year since I've posted anything here, and it's not cause I haven't been writing, I just haven't really used this account until very recently.
And normally I write in the Legend of Zelda section, but since it's 2am and I'm in the mood for scary stories, I wrote one for The Witch's House~!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the little story, and if you're still confused on what part this is about even after you finish reading it, I'll explain below.

I was lost and afraid; alone in the house to fend for myself. I was little and helpless and didn't dare move in fear of being attacked.

But as fear was taking over me, you showed up and guided the way. Slowly but surely, we worked together as an unstoppable team, getting through the rooms very quickly and making it a step closer to freedom. You were so nice to me and your smile made me feel at ease.

It wasn't too long before we stumbled upon a thick iron door with a little window; the smell of death emitting from it. I looked to you unsurely as you just peaked through the window, eyes widening. You stumbled back and gave me a look that told me that this situation wasn't something that would be dealt with easily.

I looked at you helplessly, but your eyes were suddenly clouded over. You held me more firmly in your hands as you took a deep breath. You stared at the door for a while as your eyes began to look more unlike the kind ones I saw before.

We advanced towards the door once more as I felt you lift me up to look in the window. I started to look in, but started to feel alarmed when I was being shoved farther through the little window. I struggled in your grip, but your hands just tightened, your face expressionless. I gave you a look of fear, but you didn't seem effected at all; almost as if you didn't notice. I was soon completely through the window as the grip was loosened. With one last look at you, I fell down to the ground and landed on something wet and slimy.

I looked up at the window as a low hissing noise came closer. I didn't know what was in here and I knew I wouldn't stay around long enough to find out. I didn't even care anymore as I continued to look up at the window, feeling a huge sense of betrayal. You didn't even seem like you anymore.

The hissing was almost right up to me as my sadness turned into anger. I was just a pawn in the game that had to be sacrificed so the big, more important pieces could move on? And without a say? Who were you? Were you ever my friend at all?

Those thoughts lingered in my little head as I was eaten whole faster than my brain being able to process that I was finally approaching death.

I instantly was crushed and eaten, but my spirit stayed in that room as you peaked in and walked on through. Not even stopping to look around the room to see if I may have survived, you just left. As the door closed behind you, I stood in the middle of the room, watching, waiting for you to turn around and come back for me.

But you never did. And I hate you for it.

So, surely if you've played the game as much as I have, you know who's speaking, but if you don't...

This story is pretty much the frog's point of view that you find and solve some puzzles with. When I first played through the game, I was so sad when my friend was telling me what I needed to do and she just said "Yeah, so kill the frog-"
"WHAT?!"
xD so after about a year since I first played the game, I decided to write my take on what happened in the game. I hope it was worth reading~
And since this is my first
The Witch's House fanfiction, if you wouldn't mind leaving a favorite or a review to indicate how I did, it would be greatly appreciated! cx
