After all these years of being in love with him, Sara knew that Grissom was the one. She loved the sound of the name ' Sara Grissom' . It made her feel like she had a home, something she hadn't felt since her mother killed her father. She let her thoughts wander around, thinking of all the love she had received from her loving husband, Gilbert Grissom.
She usually called him Gil, but she knew that his heart softened when she called him Gilbert. Her train of thought was interrupted by the sound of his manly voice calling her name. She ran up to him, rather like a little child, and wrapped her arms around his neck.
" I missed you, Gil"
" I missed you more, my dear Sara." He chuckled.
He picked her up, bridal style and carried her to their bedroom. Putting her down, on one side, he climbed onto the bed wrapping his arms around her. He kissed her gently on the mouth and said, " I love you, Mrs Grissom."
She sighed. Being in Grissom's arms was completely enchanting.
