1939 18th December Battle of Heligoland Bight (1)

"Not our f-fault they didn't update their m-military" she replied with a smirk "anyways, we'd better gain some Angels2 while we can" replied Arthur. The two of them boarded their respective Aircraft (two Vickers Wellington bombers) and prepared for take-off. As soon as the target ships were in sight; everything went wrong.
"Shit, B-bandits! I r-repeat, Bandits! 3" came Alana's panicked voice through the radio and Arthur paled significantly as the Luftwaffe approached. Around a hundred Aircrafts but only 44 engaged in Dogfights. Alana and Arthur preformed incredible evasive movements that would have killed a human.
With the Luftwaffe
Prussia knew immediately who it was in the planes that were dancing through the sky; only England and North could move like that, Germany was too un-awesome to fly like that but that's what Prussia admired most about the two UK siblings; the way they flew together. He gleefully shot down planes until the RAF made a hasty retreat.
They won that battle, but they didn't win the war.
On 18 December 1939, a force of three RAF bomber squadrons were sent to engage German ships in the Heligoland Bight and sink or damage as many as possible. 44 German planes versus 22 British. The RAF suffered greatly, 12 bombers destroyed, 3 bombers damaged and 57 killed. The Germans lost two pilots, 16 planes were damaged and two pilots wounded.
