Serenade of the Forest
Voices whisper
unintelligable lullabyes
filling my head
with sad goodbyes.
This song
with its notes
both high
and low
to bring me home.
This quieting serenade
binding,lulling,
entrancing,enchanting,
seeping into my soul.
I hear the animals,
my friends,laughing,
crickets chirping,
beating fairy wings,
and I long for the home
I once had.
(sigh)
I suck at poetry.
when I was writeing this,I had no idea the conection it was makeing.
Yes,it was centered around this song,and I don't even know if this is really what it was called,but it really sounds like its from Links point-of-view.Not that theres anything wrong with that,I just never noticed it 'til my sister brought it up.
