Tomorrow is the Reaping so I decide to visit my "little sister" This is something you can do in District 10.
When you are 10 you can go to the orphanage and pick out an orphan to be your "little sister" or "little brother".
So I got a "little sister",Rasia.
"RoRo!" Rasia yells as she sees me.
"Hey Rai," I say.
Only Rasia calls me RoRo, everyone else calls me Rose or by my real name, Roselie.
"What do you want do you want to do today?" I ask her.
"Can we hunt?" She whispers.
Even if our Peacekeepers are nice we don't need no new Peacekeepers to snitch on us,
that's why we are careful when we sell our game.
"Sure," I tell her and we get ready to go.
We grab knives,bows and arrows and 2 spears. Rasia is better with a spear,but I'm better when it comes to knives and equal with bow and arrow.
We are so much alike some people even think we really are has brown hair and blue eyes
I think she's from the Cattle like me. The Cattle is a small neighborhood in 10.
We are just about to shoot when we hear a noise. We turn around only to find my boyfriend,Han.
"Did I do something?" He asks.
"No just scared us,"I tell him.
" Oh, I scared the pipsqueak? What a surprise." He says joking with Rasia.
"No, only RoRo" Rai states.
"Sure," I say rolling my eyes. Han kisses me and then Rasia's head.
Rasia and Han have dinner at my house. I let Rasia stay at my house on the nights before the reaping all the time.
Han heads home after dessert and peaking me on the lips.
Tomorrow someone is going to the Capitol,and hopefully it's not me or a loved one. The odds are certainly
not in my -My older brother-and I take lots of tessare. He takes for himself,my farther, and little brother,Sam. He thinks I only take for me and my little sister,Lily,but I take some for Raisa too. I know,soon I will be taking tessare for all of us,as this is James last year. I pray like I do every year.
