Author note: Just something to help with the story. Jack is 17 in this story, Lola is 15, and Maria and Cassie are 8. Emily is the mother of Lola, Maria, and Cassie while Hailey is Jack's mother but she has already been killed before my story even started.
Jack's POV
"Jack, do you know where Mommy and Daddy are?" Maria asks as we paddle around in the lazy river.
"They're at the entrance of the river, just like they said they will be ok?" I say reassuring my sisters. "Come on, they are probably waiting for us so we can all go get food."
"Jack!" Maria's twin Cassie calls from close to the entrance, "where are Mommy and Daddy?"
"Cass wait for me," Maria calls as Cassie starts to leave the lazy river.
"Maria and Cassidy Hotchner stop!" they both look back to me with questioning looks on their faces. "Dad and Emily said that we all need to stay together," I explain when Lola and I finally catch up with Maria and Cassie.
"Jack, where are Mommy and Daddy?" Maria asks instantly, once she notices what Cassie had already seen. All four of us look around, not seeing our parents anywhere.
"Jack they said they would be waiting for us when we got out. Where are they?" Lola asks, looking concerned.
"I don't know, but until we find them, we all stick together, ok?"
"But shouldn't we all split up and look for clues?" Cassie asks, quoting Maria's and her favorite TV show.
"No, until we find them Maria hold on to Lola's hand and Cassie you hold on to my hand." I look at each one of them for a small moment. "We will find them together, ok?" all of our stuff is sitting where Dad and Emily were suppose to be and I know that something is up. I reach into Emily's bag and find her phone and Dad's phone too. I look over at Lola and she has a worried look on her face. "Let's all go together around the park; maybe they went to get food." I say and hope it's true.
