"Kamui! I'll trade you five of my jellybeans if you give me your lollipop."

"Mmm... okay, Fuuma," Kamui replied shyly. He then looked at Fuuma's candy pile and said, "I'll trade you... three licorices for a chocolate bar."

"Three only?"

"Well...I can add a nougat to that?"

"Make it three nougats and it's sold." Fuuma declared.

"Three..." Kamui wondered, and then began counting and searching for nougats in his pile. One, two, three..." Here you go, Fuuma."

"Thanks. Okaaay... what else... oh, I'll trade you my gummy bears if you give me one of those cookies."

"Ten gummy bears, and I'll give you two."

"Okay, wait..." Fuuma began to open his pack and counted off ten gummy bears, green and red and yellow and white and gave them to Kamui. He popped the last one in his mouth. "Here you go!"

"...Fuuma, there's only nine."

"Oh, wait... here. Ten!"

"Eeew, Fuuma, you already bit that!"

"So?"

"Fuuuuumaaaa..."

"Okay. Um... you go with me tomorrow afternoon, and we'll eat ice cream together with Kotori, 'kay? That good enough?"

Kamui smiled. "Yeah, I guess..."

"Alright! It's settled, then." He said smugly. "Soooooo..."

"So?"

"Want me to walk you home?"

"Will you take care of me?"

"I promise."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Okay!"

Smiling, Fuuma took his small hands into his own.

They left the store together, and Kamui looked forward to meeting him again.
