Author's Note: Written for the spn_hurtcomfort post 5.01 comment fic meme at LiveJournal. Hils' prompt was "Becky the fangirl finds out from Chuck that Sam is all alone after the car park conversation with Dean and decides to take care of him. Bonus points for having her be slightly less insane this time".
Becky shows up in Sam's hotel room about two hours after it happens. Chuck sent her.
"Are you going to be okay?" she asks. Dean's in the next room, and Becky is going to visit him later.
Sam shakes his head. "No," he replies, his voice cracking. He is determined not to cry.
"You will be. I know you two. You're Sam and Dean. Nothing can ever tear that apart," she tells Sam. In Chuck's books, Sam and Dean always made up a fight.
"I really screwed up this time, Becky. Nothing's ever going to be the same." This time, Sam dissolves into sobs.
Becky goes in for a hug, and surprisingly, Sam doesn't pull away. "Things will get better, Sam. I know they will. Don't you give up."
Becky stays with Sam until he calms down, and then goes to see Dean.
She finds out later from Chuck that she was the catalyst for Sam and Dean's reconciliation.
