A.N.- Hey fellow writers/readers! I'm new to this site and I haven't written FF since 8th grade (I'm now a senior) so please forgive me if I'm a little rusty until I gain the ropes back ;P. Anyways, the last stories usually involved Twilight or the Jonas Brothers but my most recent inspirations (obviously) is Gossip Girl and the various potential situations our beloved upper-east-siders may be experiencing during the upcoming Season 5.
This story is, I guess, what would happen in my perfect world (a world, in which, I wrote for GG and everything I wished would happen on the show. Wouldn't that be great?). I really would love as many reviews as I possibly could get in order to sharpen up my written ablities again, so constructive critism is even COMPLETELY encouraged! While I would love to jump into this pool of ideas that has been swirling in my mind for the past two nights, I'm forcing myself to write a simple prologue in order to see if I should even start writing this dang thing in the first place. SO- Enough with the talking and let's get writing, hmm? Here it is. :)
Disclaimer: I sadly do not own Gossip Girl or the songs I may suggest for certain chapters that I feel need to be listened to in order to get the full reading experience. ENJOY!
Look After You
It seemed as though Blair Waldorf was living the life that only meer mortals dreamed of in their beds at night. She was about to become royalty in a short period of time and along with prestige came more wealth than she had before. She had to agree with the headlines that were painted with words such as "fairytale", "lucky", and "royal romance" but her inner life was anything but those. This was not the fairytale Blair had imagined in her dreams. She was living it on the outside, sure, but the war that raged within her was tearing her apart from the inside out anymore these days.
While Monaco's people fawned over their future princess, she was fighting the strongest urge to run straight back to the States and into the arms of the love of her life. While he let her go on to complete her happy ending that he knew he could not produce for her, she still yearned for his touch late at night when she was warm and snuggled within royal sheets with Louis.
The small butterflies within her stomach not only justified these still-strong feelings for the mogul, but also confirmed her worst fear of all. She was pregnant with Chuck Bass' child and it was not him she would marry in a matter of short weeks, but a loyal, and good-hearted prince.
(A.N. reminder- Reviews PLEASE. I'm not sure if I should start writing without them haha. :P)
