Sabo
"A tramp, a gentleman, a poet, a dreamer, a lonely fellow, always hopeful of romance and adventure."
- Charlie Chaplin
"Oi." A voice called to him. Sabo ignored it for a moment, sighing softly as he didn't want to be interrupted right now. He tied up his fluffy blonde hair in a short ponytail in the back. He was busy with drawing, drawing the same face he had seen in his dreams. An angular jaw, eyes bluer than the sea and sky, crimson locks and soft pink lips housing a warm smile. He never was able to distinguish who this mystery being was, but whoever it was, they were simply beautiful. Sabo smiled. Leaning back as he looked to the drawing, a lovely young woman staring back to him. He reached out, a slender finger stroking the pale face of the woman.
"Such a beauty." He whispered softly with a slow smile coming over his lips.
"Yo!" Sabo's brother, Ace swung open the door, causing Sabo to jump up in shock. "What are you doing in here?! Quit screwing around!" He yelled, stepping beside Sabo's desk. "Dad's calling us down, and he needs you to egg the meat in the store! The truck is here!" Sabo groaned softly, nodding his head. He closed his notebook before standing up.
"Okay, okay, I'm coming." He said with a sigh. Ace raised a brow, a smirk coming over his pale freckled face. He looked to the notebook and grabbed it from the desk. "Hey! Unhand that!" Sabo yelled, reaching out for the notebook. Ace held it up over his head. Being a the eldest, he was able to tower over Sabo easily.
"What's this here~?" He asked with a laugh, flipping through the pages. Sabo blushed deeply, swiping at Ace's hand.
"Give it back!" He said angrily.
"Whose this girl? She seems to be on every page here." Ace said with a curious expression. "She's pretty."
"Yes, she is. Now give it!" Before Ace could refuse, footsteps came up the stairs. Their father, Shanks came running up the stairs and looked in Sabo's room to the two boys.
"What are you two nincompoops doing?! Get down here! Head chef Sanji is getting irate!" Sabo and Ace looked to each other with wide eyes. When Sanji was mad, the world burned. They nodded, quickly pulling on their uniforms and running down the steps.
"Took you long enough." Sabo and Ace sighed, rubbing their heads that Sanji had ever so graciously bashed with a frying pan. "What were you idiots doing?" He asked, his strangely curled brow arched angrily. "You two have to get the meat from the truck today!" He ordered, pointing to the door. "Out!" Ace and Sabo saluted, heading out the door. On his way out, Sabo ruffled his youngest brother's head. Luffy smiled up to the other, a huge chunk of meat hanging out his mouth.
"Okay, you take the right half, and I'll take the left." Ace said, rolling up his sleeves. Sabo nodded, doing the same and grabbing a few heavy packages from the pickup truck. He placed them over his shoulder. He moved backwards a few steps before feeling a presence behind him. He looked out the corner of his eye.
"What on earth..." Sabo whispered. His eyes widened fully.
He was met with a flash of red hair. Not ginger red. Deep red. Crimson.
"The one from the dream..." He whispered, his feet instinctively moving towards her.
"Sabo!" Ace called, a frustrated tone in his voice. "Yo, come back here!" He yelled. Sabo frowned, sighing as the female turned the corner. Was it just him, or did his dream quite literally come true?
So, how did you like it? There will be more coming up! Glad to make this comeback! Please leave a review, and I'll be back soon!
