I got a lot of reviews telling me to write a second chapter on "Moonlight."  Sorry folks, but that was meant to be a one shot.  Well, I guess since I just love the gratitude of reviews, I decided to write a nice little sequel.

*Disclaimer* Like always, I own nothing but the pom-pom.

WARNING: Auron's pretty out of character.

Flurries

"It's c-c-cold," Rikku chattered as they walked through the snow, searching for the next Al Bhed shop.  Auron looked down on her shivering form and unbuttoned the clasps on his cloak, pulling her into the warmth.  She looked up with deep gratitude and shivered against his side.  "T-th-thanks."

Yuna looked back and smiled at her cousin who was dwarfed by the older guardian.  "They're so cute," she whispered to Tidus.  He nodded.

"Yeah.  You should have been out in the yard this morning.  They were sitting up in a tree watching the sunrise." He smiled at the memory.

"Kimahri see shop," They all turned to see the top of the shop over the rocks.

"Great!  Now we can rest, ya?"  Wakka asked.  LuLu rolled her eyes.  No one answered him as they huddled together and hurried to the shop.

Rikku rolled over in bed at the soft knock on her door.  She glanced at the water clock.  Four a.m.

"Come in."  The door opened and Auron slipped inside.  Rikku let her jaw drop in the darkness.  He wasn't wearing his jacket.  Or his shirt.  Oh, damn, she thought, her heart fluttering.  What is he thinking?

"Still snowing?" he asked, not moving.  Rikku nodded.  Auron walked to the bed and sat down on its edge.  Rikku sat up, and Auron took the chance to slip his arm around her shoulder.  She shivered at his touch.  "Are you cold?"

"Just a little."  She glanced at his arm and watched as goose bumps slowly appeared.  A slight giggle escaped her.  "Are you cold?"  His lips began to curve and Rikku stared as the smiled formed.  It was a nice smile…

She reached for the corner of her quilt and lifted it up.  Auron thankfully slid under the covers, wrapping his arms around Rikku's waist and turning her to the window, her back to him.  They drifted into sleep, watching the snow fall.

"Hey, LuLu.  Where are Rikku and Auron?" Yuna asked, searching the hall behind LuLu.

"I do not know.  Both of their rooms are empty."

"Well they couldn't have just disappeared!" Tidus exclaimed.

"Hey!  Not fair!"  They all jumped at the shriek, and again at the low chuckle that followed.  The noises came from outside.  Yuna slowly pulled back the curtains to reveal a startling sight.

Out in the snow, dressed in her new fiend-fur coat and pants, was Rikku, crouching behind a tree.  Several yards away was Auron, laughing as Rikku dusted snow from the seat of her pants.

"I'll show you!" Rikku yelled, scooping up a snowball and hurling it at him.  It smacked into his bare arm and she ran from her hiding place.  She lunged and they toppled to the ground with Rikku landing on top.  Auron chuckled, his scarlet cloak covered in white powder, and sent Rikku into a fit of giggles.

She stopped giggling as he reached his hand to her face, running his thumb along her cheek, and then leaned up to claim her lips.

~end~

Okay, I know it wasn't as good as "Moonlight," but I tried.  Give me a break, I wrote this in three hours while watching TV.  That is talent.
