Chapter one(and maybe the only chapter depending on my mood and other people's opinions).
Mist could feel her excitement as she skipped through the mercenaries' new camp. Finally at long last they were close to getting to Ashnard! Soon Ike would stop the mad king's reign of terror. Mist could not wait.
She ran over to her best friend Jill.
"JILL!" Mist had screamed it so loudly that her poor friend jumped.
"Mist! You scared the crud out of me! What were you thinking?!" Jill screeched.
"To be honest, nothing," Mist replied while giggling.
"That figures," Jill said giggling just as hard back.
"Can you believe the war is almost over?"
"Yeah I guess…" Jill felt feelings of sadness wash over her as she remembered her father.
Mist at first couldn't understand what was wrong with her friend until she realized that by mistake she had brought up a thought about her father.
"It's ok you know? My dad's dead too," Mist said sadly.
"Oh I know… look Mist just don't get all sad on me now, 'cause if you're sad then I'll be sad and it will be just a big mess," Jill said in hopes of pushing off her feelings.
But of course with Mist it hadn't worked. "But you do miss him, don't you?"
"Yes, I miss him so much...I feel as though I have betrayed him," Jill managed to get out before tears came out of her eyes.
"Oh Jill I am so sorry…I miss my dad too…" At that instant Mist burst into tears.
"No Mist! Don't cry! Please don't cry," but it was too late both her and Mist were crying to the point where they almost couldn't stop.
At long last Mist felt it was necessary to give Jill a hug to comfort them both. Quickly she wrapped her arms around the larger girl and gave her a tight squeeze. At first Jill did nothing but stand there and then her arms seemed to find her way around the smaller girl's body. The two hugged each other and just stood there for a moment.
"Thank you Jill, no one ever had a better friend then you. I'll always love you okay?" Mist gave Jill a quick peck on the cheek and then walked off without another word.
A fairly confused Jill just stood there and then she smiled and muttered to herself, "Thank you Mist, you're a good friend too..."

Oh wells, I based this fan fiction off of mist and jills support convo., me and my friend where talking about how they should have hugged at the end. If they hugged that woulkd have made my friend and go awwww and omglkfdjfkldjfoeifjlaujeoiljfeo
