Hi Everyone! This is my first X-Men: Evolution Fanfic, but I'm a huge fan of all the X-Men comics, new and old, especially Wolverine! (Gotta love that Animal Magnetism) You can check out my site for him at http://www.wrathoftherunt.cjb.net
Anyway, This fic popped into my head and afternoon and it seemed so good, I just had to write it down before I forgot it! Very short Funny fic about the clash of Cartoon and Comic. It helps if you've read any X-Men or Wolverine Comics. R & R, please!

Evolution, Meet Uncanny

"Hey Wolvie!"

Logan rolled his eyes, hating the nickname given to him by Kitty Pryde. It had later been adopted by all of the younger students here at the school for gifted youngsters and none more so than the little firecracker, Jubilee. She bellowed it now; having spotted his signature hairstyle as he slunk through the halls, ready to hit the road.

Despite the exasperation it caused him, Wolverine never bothered to correct them. He told himself it was because Charlie asked him to keep peace...not cause trouble.

The man known as Logan sighed resentfully, stepping into the doorway of the living room that the household shared and leveling a neutral gaze on Jubilation Lee, who was currently reclining on the sofa.

"Come look at this!" She chirped, forever full of exuberance. Wolverine kinda liked that, but vowed never to admit it.

He stepped into the room, unconsciously checking its interior, his casual swagger betraying nothing of his never ending paranoia, "What is it, Kid?"

She glared at him for that jibe, having never liked his nickname for her, either. She was NOT a kid. No one could be on the X-Men team and stay a child for long.
Intent on gaining revenge, she thrust what looked like a colorful magazine into his hands,
"Will ya just -Look!-"

And he did, suspicion registering on his face at what he saw, "Why is my codename on the cover of this magazine?"

"Its not a magazine, dummie, its a Comic Book, and you're the Star!"
She grabbed the comic book, flipping it open, "See? I'm in it too! and we're partners, and we do all this stuff together. How come we never do anything together, Huh? We could make a great team and I could ride your scoot and- Hey!"

Wolverine snatched the booklet back, rolling his eyes at her ramblings, and began flipping through it. "A -Comic- Book, she says" He muttered, scanning the pages, "What kinda of sicko would...write.."

Jubilee glanced up from trying to regain possession of the book, wondering at Logan's silence. He was still looking at the opened pages, expression thoughtful. Suddenly, he spoke.

"..I have an awful lot of muscles in this, don't I...." He glanced at his bicep, then back to the pictures..

"Well, Duh! It's not Real!" Logan glared at her, but she ignored him. Jubilee flipped the page for him and pointed, "Look! That's me!"

"How can you tell its you," For certain, the girl in the picture looked little like Jubilation. Maybe in a few years, but not now.

"She's got my powers and her codename is Jubilee." The girl rolled her eyes, as if it had been obvious all along, "Don't I look awesome? I get a -Yellow- Jacket! And the coolest thing is, I have Breasts!"

Wolverine lofted his black eyebrows, smirking. He tried to hold it in, he really did. But it was too easy.

"Oh, yeah, this -definitely- isn't real, then"

Then the great and mighty Wolverine ran for his life.
