"The prophecy says that ye are the last dragonborn. But ye are surely not the least. In fact, my theory is that if ye are the last, ye might be the one who would be able to defeat the firstborn of Akatosh, Alduin, and the very first dragonborn, Miraak, which you said is planning on coming back here in Skyrim."

"So it was pre-destined that all the previous dragonborns were just born? What if it's only an unfortunate coincidence that I was born in the era that Alduin would rise? What if I'm not the last dragonborn? You're jumping into conclusions that I'm the last dragonborn."

"Hmm, forgive me, I am but a humble Nord who is not well educated in terms of dragon philosophy. I didn't think of the boring details." he said mockingly. "Perhaps ye are reincarnated from the previous dragonborns and each time, ye become stronger? Or perhaps the gods just wanted to have a little fun? Either way, it's quite entertaining to theorize about yer situation, "last" Dragonborn. Ye have so much drama in yer life than just being in the middle of a mortal war, as ye're apparently also involved in immortal ones. And not to mention some Daedric Princes hate sharing their champion." he chucked his dagger into the air and waited for the handle to come back onto his palms. "A shame that I won't be able to see them war against each other just for yer soul. I'm gonna be in Sovngarde; and maybe ye can be there even though ye're an Imperial, but that wouldn't be fun for ye would it? Ye're a sticky mudcrab of disaster and as I said, verra entertaining."

I glared at him, "I wouldn't call it entertaining if I wouldn't want an early trip to Sovngarde."

He raised his palms, a gesture to placate me, yet his face beheld amusement. "Easy, love. Don't use yer dragon shout on me now. I've had enough of that since that time ye threw me off my horse once. I'm merely saying that fate has given such a ridiculous amount of responsibility on such a wee lass."

"Dont call me wee. I already have dragons calling me that." I grumbled, "I'm not sure if fate is a big ol' jester or if it just has a mysterious way of controlling us. But it would've been nice if fate gave me a hint."

"It wouldn't be fun that way." he said as he stood up and stretched

"It's not fun for me." I stayed sitting and gazed up at him

He looked at me and grinned, "Yeah, but it is for them."

I glared at him again and stood up. "Who's them, anyway?"

"Probably the 9 Divines" he shrugged.

"Ugh... let's just hope Akatosh likes me more than his firstborn."

He grinned (and actually had the gall to wink), "I certainly like you more than Alduin, lass."
