The Power of Geass
From a young age Zero knew that he was special. At the age of 5 a weird symbol appeared in left eye that he couldn't see unless he looked into a mirror. Whenever this symbol appeared his eye would turn purple with his pupil changed into a crimson red bird-like shape. His parents took him to the doctor to see what was happening to their little boy but the doctors were baffled by this strange bird-shaped symbol. As he grew older he began to notice that, like a sense, he could control the appearance of this symbol as he grew older. At the age of 8 he has his first real friend Jack who could see past the abnormality that Zero had. They has been the best of friends and would play together everyday after school until one day when an accident happened while the two were playing. Jack was angry at Zero for not letting him play with the new toy that Zero just got. Jack went up to Zero and punched him in the face and knocked him onto the ground. Zero, overwhelmed with anger, lost the ability to control his power. He got up from the ground with his eye shaded purple with his pupil replaced with the symbol colored red and turned to jack. "I command you to go away… FOREVER!" yelled Zero. To anyone looking on it seemed like a normal fight between friends but to Jack it was something way different. After hearing Zero yell that Jack looked into Zero's eyes and saw what no one else could see. He saw the bird shaped symbol fly out of Zero's eye and into his own. Not a moment later Jack ran off. Zero thought it was it was in anger but it was way worse. Jack never returned home that night nor had anybody saw him at school the next day. Everyone assumed he ran away because he was bullied at school but Zero knew the truth. He knew that he was the one that made Jack run away for good. Up until this point he thought the bird shaped symbol was nothing to worry about or even worth remembering but now he understood the curse he was given. The power of kings.. The power of Geass...
