Description
Ever since the enemies' victory in the first Garden Warfare, Suburbia and many countries have fallen into their hands. With an iron fist, they ruled over them, causing war crimes worldwide and the death toll increasing at Mach speed and still showed no signs of stopping. The plants had all been forced out, with only pockets of resistances scattered across the world, many having already being snuffed out by the undead. With the arrival of reinforcements on both sides, which will prevail? The first Garden Warfare has ended, but the second Garden Warfare is just around the corner.
Prologue
The undead, or rather what most people would call them, zombies. Creatures that only exist in the realms of fiction once were regular humans, now mindless walking corpses, and a husk of their former selves. In almost every zombie apocalyptic movie, the military was always the first to be overrun by the sheer number of the walking dead, yet this was far from the truth. World militaries were powerful, wielding machines of war that can devastate large cities. All it takes is a single bullet to the head to stop them. Many militaries have undergone intense training and battle simulations to combat these unlikely scenario, whether the undead were slow walking corpses or fast running rabid infected, the soldiers of humanity was fully prepared, yet who would have expected what was to come.
The zombies did come, and with them they brought along surprises. It was nobody's fault to expect the dead to combat using fire weapons, combat gear, military tactics and staying intelligent. A zombie will not stop attacking unless it was killed, these enemies were no exception. A bullet to the abdomen would probably cause enough pain for a human soldier to fall over and scream in agony, yet these abominations continue to press on, ignorant of the fresh wounds. Although soldiers were taught that landing a bullet on the head would make them good as dead, it was easier said than done. To expect every infantry to land a headshot on zombies with the intelligence on par with a human, donning equipment similar to theirs and using technology possibly more advanced than them with the introduction of Z-Tech, it was just too much to ask for. And with that, world militaries were soon overrun.

Hello. This is my first time writing a fanfic here on . I've read a lot of the PVZ fanfics and noticed on how much potential garden warfare had to provide a good story. I decided to give it a try and see how it goes. I'll try to make each chapter, aside from this one, on average 2000 - 3000 words. I would very much appreciate any thoughts and constructive critics towards this because it's my first time writing a fanfic. I'll try my best frequently update this story but school and life may get in the way. Please do note that this fanfic will have a pairing of peashooterxsunflower but will not mainly focus on it but instead focus on the war on plants and zombies. With this I assure you that chapter 1, will have more words than the prologue :)
