coolcat101sanswered: Some fluffy GerIta in the Potterverse, please?

Sorry for the delay! I almost missed your response. I'm actually not sure when you answered, but I hope you weren't waiting too long!

(Headcanon: Ludwig and Feliciano are both Hufflepuffs, much to Ludwig's chagrin. Ludwig was placed there for being so diligent and hardworking, while Feliciano was sorted for being loving and caring. Potterverse fics never seem to include Hufflepuff, okay.)

"Ludwig!" Feliciano called, waving after him. "Wait up!"

Ludwig stopped to wait for him, adjusting his bookbag so that he didn't look idle. When Feliciano caught up, he was panting hard—his face was red, and he doubled over to breathe more easily. His bookbag sagged, full of heavy books, and Ludwig frowned.

"Let me carry that," he said, holding out his hand. Feliciano stared at him in confusion for a moment before understanding and a wide grin spread across his face.

"You are so sweet," Feliciano said, struggling to get the bag off of his shoulder and into Ludwig's hand. "I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful boyfriend!"

Ludwig's head snapped back and forth, looking for eavesdroppers, but no one seemed to be reacting to Feliciano's comment. Sighing, Ludwig slung the bag over his free shoulder. If anyone ribbed him about being a pack mule, he would break their nose.

"You should train more," Ludwig said sternly. "If you just took care of yourself, you would be able to carry this on your own."

Feliciano laughed.

"You're so tough, Ludwig!" he said. "But that's why you're the Keeper and I'm the Seeker, silly."

Something about the way Feliciano winked at the end of that statement made Ludwig blush. He turned on his heel towards the dungeons.

"We're going to be late for Potions," he said over his shoulder. "Do you want another detention with Mr. Filch?"

"Aw, but Mrs. Norris is so nice," Feliciano sighed. "It's not that hard. Mr. Filch loves to talk if you can get him started, too."

Ludwig found the image absolutely unthinkable—but Feliciano was on good terms with almost everyone in Hogwarts, so he didn't object. Perhaps Filch was so nasty to everyone as a result of everyone being nasty to him.

"Even so," Ludwig said. As Feliciano still dawdled, though, he sighed and turned back. "What is it?"

"My back hurts," Feliciano groaned, leaning back to crack it. "Go on without me!"

"Oh, for the love of…" Ludwig muttered, then closed his eyes and crouched down low. His pride was less important than maintaining his standing with Professor Snape, who was one of the few not immediately charmed by Feliciano. "Come on."

Feliciano immediately grinned and ran up to Ludwig, clamoring onto his back.

"I love you sooo much," he whispered, kissing Ludwig's temple. Ludwig almost smiled, but suppressed it.

"And I you."
