Mimi sat on the park bench thinking about what she just heard.
"I'm sorry… I found some one else…" It pounded in her head. She held her self close and let the raindrops fall on her. She laughed at herself.
'How did I not see this coming?' She thought 'It was so obvious…' She got up and started to walk. She walked passed happy couples under their umbrellas and saw the streetlights flicker on. She turned down the side walk towards her cozy little condo. Her parents were asleep. She walked up to her room and climbed into her bed. 'I'm 18… I could find some one else…' She thought to her self. 'Tomorrow's another day… without my Taichi…' She thought bitterly. She hadn't cried and thought that maybe it was a good sign.
Mimi woke up late. She stayed in her bed and waited for her mom to get up and force her out. She looked at her clock: 10:37 am. Thank God it was Saturday. The sunshine stung her eyes. She laid there thinking about her past with Taichi: The digital world, their first kiss, the first night together… They all ran through her head in a blur.
Flash Back
"Mimi come on!" Sora begged.
"No!"
"Please!" Sora was on her hands and knees.
"I'm not telling!"
"I told you who I had a crush on!"
"Yeah but it was your decision!"
"I'll tell every one you're a lesbian."
"Like they'll believe you…"
"If they don't… I'll kiss you right in front of them…"
"That's sick and they'll all enjoy it!"
"Fine! If you won't tell me I'll have to hold on to your leg until you do!" Sora grabbed her leg. Mimi tried shaking her off.
"Fine! I like Tai! No wait! I really like Tai! I hate it when he looks at other girls. I hate it when we argue! I hate it when he ignores me but I love him…" Sora let go.
"Tai… I thought it was Matt!"
"…"
"What?"

"I'm mad!"
"Why?"
"Cause."

"He told me he likes you."
