Summary: They hadn't known. Seriously. And there had been alcohol.
A/N: In response to a OUaT confession on the dash that just…why is there no Charming Swan indeed. (Established Swan Queen)
There were times Emma wished she could turn back time. Hindsight was 50/50 and all that.
This was one of those times. Finally being reunited with Mary Margaret, or Snow White if we were being technical, the relief of finally having parents washed over her. Not only that, parents that wanted her lifted her heart more than she thought it ever would.
Being able to do this with Regina behind her and everyone remaining civil towards the woman she had grown to care for was a definite plus.
Looking down at Henry who gave her a 'I told you so' look, she rolled her eyes and ruffled his hair slightly. The former Evil Queen gave the blonde a slightly cross look as she smoothed down their son's hair. Henry of course copied Emma's eye rolling maneuver.
Thinking of her parents, Emma turned towards the other reason for her existence. She had a father. The smile on her face suddenly froze as she realized just exactly who that was. As the two looked at each other, a sudden realization came over both their faces.
"GAAAGH!"
"ARGH!"
Both father and daughter began to point and yell incoherently.
Regina and Snow exchanged confused looks as they tried to find out from their partners what had happened to prompt that reaction.
Emma began fanning herself and clawing at her tongue. If they knew what had prompted this, the show might have been funny. Realizing that the brunette was next to her, the Sheriff quickly grabbed her by the upper arms.
"Emma! Wha-" the question was quickly cut off as lips crashed into each other. It was quick but a desperate kiss, as the green eyed woman pulled away and breathed, panting. "Ugh, I so needed that."
Turning towards the man who was her father, she pointed towards him again. "Nothing happened. You were drunk. Hell I was drunk. Never happened. Nope. I'm already screwed up as it is."
Giving him a quick hug, she pulled Regina away towards the door, giving her excuses to Snow and James.
Snow, still confused by her husband and daughter's reaction, looked to Henry. He gave a quick shrug as he went to follow his mothers. Turning to her husband who had turned an unflattering shade of green, she cocked her head quizzically.
"James? What was that about?" He mumbled a response that she didn't quite catch. Turning him gently she ducked to catch his gaze. "What was that dear?"
From outside, a distinct yell could be heard as the door swung shut behind Henry.
"YOU KISSED EMMA?!"
