Druna fluff and a little drama but a lot of cuteness. Draco Malfoy and Luna Lovegood are owned by J.K. Rowling. I hope you enjoy it.
Draco bit his lip and jerked in his sleep, his body twitching as the nightmare took over. His wife sadly watched him, sliding her small arms around him and whispering "Shhhh.." Her long wavy blonde hair looked like it twined with his blond locks as she rested her head slowly on his chest.
Luna Malfoy held him like this for hours, whispering "Shhh.. You are going to be okay." She would hum songs from their childhood, songs that her Father would sing after her mother died.
This happens every year of the anniversary his Father's death. After the war six years ago, Draco's father was sent to Azkaban and was killed as a traitor by a fellow dark wizard. Draco found out the news the day it happened, the day before their wedding four years ago.
That day he crumbled holding on to her, silent howls coming from his open mouth as he cried into her stomach. She felt tears all from her own eyes and she said softly "Death is not the end." He always felt she was too wise for him.
After the tears subsided and hours later, they ended up twined together in bed. Draco had his resting on her flat stomach and suddenly he popped his head up saying "Let's have a baby!" Luna stared at him blankly saying "I thought you wanted to wait for a child?"
Draco's eyes sparked with his idea and happily chattered saying "We can have a baby. We can raise the baby with love and compassion. Something that you are fully made of. I don't want a son of mine to feel mistreated like I did." He trailed off looking at her with puppy eyes.
She giggled slightly saying "Son? Okay. Well we are getting married tomorrow anyways." She suggestively thrown the covers over the top of them. They were married the next day and eleven months later delivered their child, a son named Scorpius Apollo.
Two years later their daughter Cecilia "Cici" Artemis arrived with matching blonde curls of her brother. And Draco felt truly happy. He had a loving and doting wife, and children whom he spoiled.
And now his love, the mother of his children and his happiness on Earth held him while he cried in his sleep, dreaming about the fear his Father must have experienced and the guilt he felt for never visiting his father while he was still alive. The nightmares felt so real, as if he could feel the cold that his Father felt when he was attacked by his former comrades.
Draco woke up in the morning, his wife draped over him and their daughter staring at him from the foot of bed. Her round blue eyes identical to her mother's and she said "I am hungry. It is time to wake up." He groaned rolling over and glancing at the clock "Cici, it is 6am. Don't you think that is too early?"
Cici glared at him then with a eerily similar Malfoy glare and she said "I will let you go back to sleep if I can have pudding for breakfast." She was a true Malfoy, letting her Father mull over the decision and he said grumbling "Don't tell your mum." His daughter was a very convincing six year old.
She smiled triumphantly and skipped out of their room. He closed his eyes to try to fall back asleep when he heard a soft voice "This is the third time this week Cici had pudding for breakfast." Luna had her eyes closed but she sounded wide awake.
He flushed realizing he was caught and he coughed saying "No? Is it?" She opened her cornflower blue eyes and whispered "You are a bad liar." She gave him a quick kiss on the lips and rolled over to sleep a little longer.
Luna mumbled into her pillow, "Go feed our children a proper meal, please." He grumbled again and sighed "Yes dear." She giggled to herself and sleepily said "Love you." He rolled his eyes, kissing her shoulder blade and said "And I love you too." He got up, rubbing his hair and wandered barefooted out of the room to feed their little ones pancakes. Luna's favorite.
She smelled the air, the syrupy goodness drifting up the stairs and she sat up thanking her blessings. Handsome husband, adorable children & pancakes.
