A day in the Life of Norbert the Dragon. (His days with Hagrid.)
Norbert is a young dragon. A baby, as his owner Hagrid would say. He didn't have his mother around to take care of him, but Hagrid would do. But oh how he longed for a dragon to play with. He woke up at about midnight. He was hungry. He could se that Hagrid was still up. He climbed out of the box he was sleeping in, and whacked his tail on Hagrid's leg. That would get his attention. Hagrid looked down, and saw the little baby dragon. Hagrid knew what was wrong, so he got up to make Norbert's dinner. He was having Chicken and Brandy. He put it in a bowl and the Dragon ate it. After Norbert ate it, he went to his box, and slept again. He dreamed of his own friends, and his mother. He woke up half an hour later, hungry again. And so it continued until 6:00 in the morning. He woke up then, and was hungry, but thought that after his feed he would be ready to go exploring. He thought that he would try an escape from Hagrid. Maybe go look in the forest again. But Hagrid didn't go out. It had been like this for the last couple of days. Every half hour he would get fed, then he would try and do something, wait for Hagrid to go out, but nothing happened. He just sat there. At about 11:00 pm, near Midnight, there was a knock at the door. Norbert was packed in a box, and was thinking that it was very strange. He had a teddy with him, and he ripped it apart. He was being carried, and felt himself being put down after almost an hour. A few minutes later he was picked up again and carried away, and he never saw Hagrid again.
