Tobias's confusion
Tobias's POV
Tris stood by the stone scalper, just past the security checkpoint. Amongst the debris that still remained from the attack Nita and her accomplices from the fringe.
I bit my lower lip; I needed to talk to Tris, again…to maybe clear things up with her.
"Tris?" I asked.
Her gaze turned towrords me.
"C-Could we, you know, talk?" I asked.
She nodded.
She's wearing a black tank top that exposited her tattoos, her three birds on her collier bone, her old fractions symbol two hands joined together, Abnegation, then on her other shoulder, her joined fraction symbol, flames, the dauntless symbol. She is not only brave but she is selfless also.
"Tris," I sighed then swhollowed hard. "Look I admit I've made some really stupid choices lately, and I realize that, I'll never really be forgiven for what I've done; too Uriah, and too you Tris. I've hurt you in ways words can no longer express. I won't be upset if you no longer wish to go out with me. Tris, your stronger then I'll ever be." I said.
I struggled to fight away tears.
"Tobias…look, I know you're sorry for your mistake. I forgive you, but your right, you've betrayed a decision that I said was right, and look were its gotten you? Be thankful were no longer in that city, because if we were you'd be dead." She said.
That last part stung.
She hugged me.
I couldn't understand it, she was just angry at me and all the things in the world would never break her walls, that was in till know.
"I needed you to realize something's before I could make mine." She said.
"Hey! Is you two are done we have to move, know!" Cara said.
Tris and I looked at each other and followed Cara to the meeting spot.
Once we got there Cristiana is in the far corner, celeb is on the computer,
And Matthew is leaning on the cabinet.
Tris had voleentered to test the truth suem to see if it would work on the GPs in the bureau, well I'm testing it for the GDs in the bureau.
Tris sat in the chair, I was the only one in that room that she trusted enough to give it to her.
We waited a little while then we begun asking her questions, I could tell if they were lies or the truth.
"Where do your loaltylies lie?" I asked her.
"My loyalty is to the bureau." She said.
Tris was told to say things like that so we'd know if she had said to our group we'd know she was telling the truth, but seeing how she's fighting the serum yet again it explains as to why she was tested on so much by Janine Matthews.
Then something happens to her.
My heart stops as she falls from the chair struggling holding her head crying out.
I grabbed her yelling for her to wake.
I looked into her eyes but all I see is her screaming out.
Celeb hands me a needle and tells me to use it, I'm going to risk it.
I inject the scram into Tris' neck her movements begun to loosen up and she sleeps peacefully on my lap.
"w-What happened?" I asked in a shacky voice.
"Tris must have begun to fall under its effect and her genes must have caused her to lose control." Mathew said.
I looked down at her.
I just hoped she'd be okay.
