The DJ started to play a slow song. Ally looked everywhere for Dallas. But he was nowhere in sight. Great she thought.
Ally kept turning in circles. Her lime green dress sparkling in the moonlight. She couldn't find him anywhere, but she did see Steven. Her eyes bulged as he tried to make horrible flirty faces at her. He started walking towards her. She started to chew her hair. She just couldn't dance with him. Her heart started racing and it almost burst when someone put their hands around her waist.

Austin saw ally turning in circles looking worried. Her lime green dress twinkling in the moonlight. She look breathtaking. She always look pretty, but tonight he was speechless.
Ally started to look panicked. So he followed her stare to steven. Oh no you don't perv he thought. With swift movements Austin maneuvered through the dancing couples. And sneaked up behind ally, and put his hand around her waist. She shrieked and jumped. He couldn't help but laugh.
" Austin! Don't do that!" she swatted his chest.
" It looks like you need someone to dance with" Austin tilted his head towards Steven keeping his hands around her waist.
Ally looked around for Steven not noticing what Austin was applying. She spotted Steven looking slightly sad, but then he found another girl to torture. Ally smiled and breathed a sigh of relief. Looking back up at Austin she noticed his hands were around her waist.
"Oh you want to dance." Even though this felt awkward to her. She Complied, and put her hands around his neck. Austin smiled at her cute gesture. He took her hands from his neck and one and put on his shoulder. And took the other and took it in his and started a modern waltz. Ignoring her confused face he started leading her.
" Austin, you know I'm not good at dancing" her face turned red after she stumbled as he twirled her.
" Just follow my lead" he pulled her in hips touching. Her hair smelled like strawberries and her dress felt silky under his hands. Everything was great until he realized what he was doing. He was holding ally extremely close. Butterfly's exploded in his stomach. He tensed up. Instantly worse case scenarios flashed through his head. He mentally kicked himself. He was ruining the moment. Just enjoy he thought i can deal with everything later.
Looking straight at his nose, ally thought of how much taller Austin was. At the moment she was wearing high heels so her eyes met his nose, but usually her eyes met his mouth. His nose was kind of cute she thought. It fits his face. Wait why was she thinking about his nose? She felt Austin tense then relax. What was wrong she thought? Does she smell bad, does he not want to dance with her? He asks her so of course. Was he looking at another girl? Ally felt anger rise up. Wait why did she care? It's not like...she... li...She did like him. She just denied it. She denied it so many times that she finally convinced herself that she didn't. She looked up. She could feel his breath on her nose. She looked at his lips. She felt an urge to kiss him.
"Austin" she whispered
"huh" he breathed as he came back
"Thank you" She said shyly. She pressed her face in his chest. She felt his arm tightened around her back. Ally decided not to worry. She snuggled deep into his chest, and lost herself in his arms.
