Remember the days
Where peace flowed through the clouds
Where I saw you be who you want to be
Where nothing could hurt you
But the peace
Always seems to end
I have to send you into the fray
To an enemy we thought dead
Brought back by forces unknown
Your back was always watched
But it was never enough
Your darkness and light clashed
Sometimes against
Sometimes loyal
The dead
Always out to increase their numbers
You wanted to help the soldiers
But I couldn`t allow it
For I didn't have the power to
As the Underworld
The Earth
And Sky clash
You stayed by my side
Your belief in me was always there
But I failed you
As you lay in my arms
Your wings disappearing
All because you never gave up
On me
I can't even save you
The only thing that can save you
Is your hatred for me
Your greed
Your darkness
For some reason, I felt like writing a poem. I'm not sure it's very good, so I would love some criticism.
