Evestar:Someone would say hi and start explaining but she's currently sucking an icing tube like a dummy.

E.S.P:Her one weakness.

Cyndaquil:This was a small idea someone had while walking in the rain.

E.S.P:Catching her death.

Cyndaquil:If anyone can think of a better ending she might share her icing with you.

E.S.P:Yeah that's not set in stone.

Evestar:She owns nothing.

E.S.P:It's not perfect but its a start.

Vincent Valentine did not like the rain. Even in his former life he hated detested it with every fibre of his being. It was wet and often left him cold and miserable. Each and every droplet mocked him as it ran down the window pane. There was a reason they were shaped of so much like a bullet.

He did have errands to run that day but it looked like they would have to be held off for another day. At least none were important.

He sighed into his red cape and tried to return to reading but the rain had other ideas and the machine gun fire against the window was as loud as possible. He rested his head on his golden gauntlet and debated whether to get drunk or not. It would take twice as much alcohol per demon and double it again for Chaos.

"Hey Vin-chan~" A hyper voice grinned opposite him. Brown eyes watched him in mild amusement as he flinched. "Why are you looking so down?"

He put the book as a barrier between him and it.

"Fine be that way." She chimed childishly.

Every so often she would kick him under the table when Tifa wasn't looking. He could time it to the second. "I don't like the rain."

She made a noise of affirmation. "What if I could make you like the rain?" She grinned like a mad man. "Any takers?" She yelled into the virtually empty, because if was two hours before opening time, bar. Cloud, Tifa and Nanaki looked at her. By now they should have been used to her random exclamations.

"500 gil you can't do it." Cloud stated before walking upstairs.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence." She yelled after him.

Curiosity was sparked inside of him. He had nothing better to do. "Ok then."

She looked at him like he had a second head. "Alright then..." She grabbed his hand and dragged him outside. The rain laughed and bounced off his head in enjoyment. He grumbled to himself.

She looked at him with her cocked to the side like a puppy. She took his hands and started to pull them backwards and forwards in a slow dance. She giggled as he let her do this. The rain got its revenge at the small moment of joyment by raining harder on his head. He could barely see as his hair was plastered across his eyes.

Yuffie burst out laughing and handed him her bandana. "Here tie it up." She looked like a drowned rat but still managed to smile through it.

Vincent rolled his eyes and held out his hands. Passersby gave them plenty of space as they slow danced in the torrential downpour. Even the rain couldn't even burst the happy bubble forming inside of him.

She gasped over dramatically as a smirk crossed his face.

He stupidly closed the space between them. Teasing her lips with his own. He rested his head on hers and hugged her in an attempt to get some warmth.

"Cloud owes me."
